Our story

We believe in biotechnology for a better future. We have a personal stake in tomorrow, so we’re working hard to create safer, stronger, and more sustainable approaches to growing crops and ensuring food security – for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and our communities.

We’re Trillium. Grow with us.

The innovation engine for enterprise ag input companies

Rather than develop and bring products to market, we drive breakthroughs in RNAi and next-gen proteomics.

We leverage our Agrisome technology and the global IP portfolio behind it – along with integrative technologies (bioinformatics, AI), processes (biomanufacturing, prototyping), and practices (licensing, PaaS) – to accelerate the product development programs of our larger commercial partners. By staying focused on early-stage innovations, we shorten the time to value for companies seeking safer, durable, high-performance solutions for their current and future markets.

“It’s not simply about creating the best crop protection.
It’s about how we work better together to create it.”

Built to be different

We’re solving one of the biggest problems in agriculture: how to sustainably improve crop yields and help farmers amid rising economic and environmental adversity. But since day one, Trillium has taken a different path to that goal.

We bring diverse perspectives and disciplines – blending scientific expertise, an open innovation culture, true business agility, and an entrepreneurial mindset – to inform and accelerate the development of a new class of biologicals with broad applications in modern agriculture.

We may not look quite like your average agtech company. But it’s only because that’s the last thing we want to be.
